New features:
- Monsters lead to escape scenarios after beating the player
- Various new additions to the story and side quests
- QTE on various attacks changing damage dealt

- New disable mechanic where monsters can partially tie up the player not enough to capture them, but enough to severely lower their combative abilities.

New post game story (Very wip):
- Talk to a guard at the main gate after beating the main story.
- New enemies and in battle and escape mechanics.
Main quests additions (You don’t need to make a new save, just go to the area and it just works):
- New events in miu miu forest, tainted dagger hideout (road to lanylisse), greywind pass, stromm marshes, and alber forest.
- New enemies in the tail and badlands.
- Most vine and web enemies have new attacks and can bind players without fully capturing them.

- A mod for didnapper 2 that adds some more interesting mechanics to monsters as well as add new monsters. Monsters can tie you in combat without ending the battle but instead debuffing the player instead. Additionally, there are new escape scenarios the player needs to escape from after losing to monsters which takes them to new area only reachable by getting caught by monsters which will include new bosses and some loot. New quests are also going to be added in involving, you guessed it, monsters. Mod is in heavy work in progress. Right now there are 4 bosses which will be revamped in the future and 5 areas where you can be caught by monsters. The areas are bellia forest, miu miu forest, greywind pass, the stromm marshes, and the badlands. One of these places also has a special enemy waiting for you. I will add the rest in the future as well as new quests and new unique monsters. The current release is meant more as a demo then a reason to replay the game but if you are interested you can keep up to date on the progress of the mod at the did games discord server at https://discord.com/invite/xXDgYPV. Its also the best place to tell me about bugs.
Only some outfits work properly right now and zhara sprite will be croped poorly. Additionally, bosses are found in escape area when caught by monsters. They have different sprites from everything else and and have a chest behind them. After you escape from the monsters, you will still be tied up and need to find a sharp enough rock to help cut off the rest of your restraints.

Both vine and web binds require you to escape from torso and leg restraints before escape from wrist restraints.
How to escape webs:
While binded by webs, you must first bring the leg binds below 30% to be able to struggle out of torso. However you can not fully escape from leg binds until torso is below 30% and torso can't be fully escaped from until legs are fully removed. Additionally, everytime you struggle torso or legs, the opposite and wrists get tighter. So get legs as low as possible then struggle from torso and jump between the two one of the aforementioned conditions aren't met. then escape from wrists.
Right now, most monsters excluding roots found in caves should take you to an new escape sequence

Completely reworked Mimic fights.
Mimic Mechanic Spoilers (Don't click if you want to figure out what it does on your own)
Mimic now has greatly increased stats. Also now each a party member at the start of combat and periodically during the fight if the party members escapes. Also has a drain attack and AOE attack. Consumed members also takes periodic damage.

sorry i don't check this page often but im relativley active on the discord. And yeah just as Fire Tempest says, this hasn't been updated for the truth update yet.
The mod sounds like fun but it doesn't seem to be working whenever i try it

oh your fine but when I play the mod it doesn't change anything, I may as well be playing the base game. I just get an instant game over.
Hey there are 2 common issues that come up. One is that people mess up the actual process with installing mods in which case i would recommend watching the video below I would also suggest using a fresh install of the game, but if you are 100% sure you got the process right, then another common issue is that when you extract the folder, there is another folder inside it with all the mod files in. That folder is the one you want to use when patching the game. If the issue still persists, please let me know.
I've downloaded other mods like the overkill mod which is really fun so I know i downloaded it right so maybe it's the folder thing, I'll check tonight to see if it works.

This is not compatible with Overkill + Yuti's mod. When the mod is more content complete and less buggy, I will reach out to them to try to merge it with their mods.
